Don't look now, but the New York Giants are back in the NFC East race, as Victor Cruz continues to make big plays.
The Giants came away with a big 27-13 win over the Green Bay Packers, winning their fourth straight game. Cruz was productive once again, catching eight passes for 110 yards, giving him 11 fantasy points in ESPN's standard scoring leagues.
This season, Cruz has 58 receptions for 824 yards and four touchdowns. While he's not having the season that he was hoping for, he is still near the top of the NFL in receiving yards and is on pace for 1,318 receiving yards with around six touchdowns.
With the offense taking better care of the ball, Cruz is starting to get more opportunities to make plays. Over the past three games, he's been targeted 31 times, and he should continue to get looks as long as Eli Manning is upright.
The upcoming schedule for the Giants is extremely favorable for Cruz and Manning. Their next three games will be against some of the weakest pass defenses in the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers.
As you can see below, this gives Cruz an excellent chance to put up some big numbers.

While he may not be having his best season, Cruz is always capable of putting up big numbers. We've seen it a couple of times this season, and with the remaining games on the schedule, he's certainly someone you must start every single week as a WR2, WR3 or at the very least, in the flex spot.
