Jordan Reed has been one of the breakout stars at the tight end position for fantasy football owners this year. But the Washington pass-catcher had to leave Week 11's game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday with a concussion, raising questions about what type of production could be in store for Logan Paulsen.

First, Reed's injury, via Eagles Insider:

Paulsen really isn't a very attractive option for fantasy owners. He set career highs in receptions (25), yards (308) and tied his career high in touchdowns (one) last year, so his upside seems limited, especially in a Washington offense that is far better when it is running the ball, not passing.

Yes, Reed has produced in this offense, but he is a far more compelling talent that the team has smartly utilized. Paulsen will likely provide Robert Griffin III with a security blanket, but security blankets generally don't pay off for fantasy owners unless they are Jason Witten or they receive regular red-zone targets.

Paulsen will obviously see his usage increase if Reed misses any time, but he's nothing more than a low-end TE2 for fantasy owners.
