Two members of the WPS' Chicago Red Stars tallied a goal each to lead the United States Women's National Team to a 4-0 victory over Canada in Toronto Monday.

Megan Rapinoe scored the second goal of the match just before halftime and Lindsay Tarpley scored off the bench in the 77th minute.

The first goal of the contest was scored by Shannon Boxx of WPS' LA Sol after only 93 seconds, while Lauren Cheyney scored the final goal with a brilliant header in the 80th minute.

The fact that half the national team's scoring came from Red Stars players is encouraging to Chicago fans who have suffered through a 320-minute scoring drought at Chicago's Toyota Park.

The Red Stars have a bye this week and return to action in Los Angeles against the Sol on Wednesday, June 3 at Home Depot Center.
