South Carolina 19, Florida 14—Final
It wasn't pretty, but it didn't need to be. The No. 10 South Carolina Gamecocks escaped Saturday with a tough 19-14 victory over Florida.
The story of the game was Florida's lack of confidence in freshman third-string quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg. Mornhinweg attempted just 13 passes on the night, several of them on Florida's last drive. His final pass was intercepted with less than two minutes remaining to give the Gamecocks the victory.
South Carolina (8-2, 6-2) finishes their SEC portion of the schedule and have two games remaining against Coastal Carolina and Clemson.
Meanwhile, the Gators drop their fifth straight to fall to 4-6 on the season. They finish the season with home games against Georgia Southern and No. 2 Florida State at home.
