UCF Receiver Makes One-Handed TD Catch Late in 4th Quarter

UCF was down 36-29 with only 76 seconds remaining in its game against Temple. The Knights needed a big play, and they got one from receiver J.J. Worton. The junior wideout got behind the defense and made an incredible one-handed catch in the back of the end zone. The ensuing extra point tied the game.

Quarterback Blake Bortles deserves credit as he made a good throw right before he was hit.

Worton had 10 receptions for 179 yards and three touchdowns on the day.

Worton's catch helped the Knights pull off a wild comeback as kicker Shawn Moffitt nailed a 24-yard field goal as time expired to give his team a 39-36 victory.

The Knights improved to 5-0 in the American Athletic Conference with the win, and they are the only team in the AAC that has yet to lose a conference game.
