Ohio State 52, Marquette 35 (Final)

No. 10 Ohio State won an ugly affair in Milwaukee over No. 17 Marquette, 52-35

The two teams combined for just 38 points in the first half, which marked the lowest single half total in one half of Division I basketball this season.

When the second stanza began, it was the Buckeyes who woke up and decided to play offense.

Led by guards Shannon Scott, Aaron Craft and Sam Thompson, Ohio State cruised to their third victory of the season against the preseason favorite in the Big East.

The Golden Eagles were just plain awful in the shooting department as they ended 10-of-53 from the field.

Leading the charge in the futility department was Todd Mayo, who was a meager 3-of-15 with 11 points.

Mayo was his team's leading scorer, while Scott and Thompson both had 13 points to lead the Buckeyes.
