The payrolls for the teams in Friday night's game at US Airways Center suggest a chasm. The Brooklyn Nets, with a league-leading $101 million payroll, and the Suns, with the second lowest payroll at about $53 million, had been just as disparate as one would figure this season but in opposite ways with Brooklyn stumbling into town at 2-5.
