Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski apologized today in his first public comments since a TMZ video captured him making a comment about fried rice Sunday during a party at Bar Louie. Gronkowski was taped saying, "They told me he could only cook fried rice," as an Asian man danced in front of him. However, there has since been more context provided to the Herald about the story. The partygoer, Joe, was said to have been talking to Gronkowski earlier during the event. Gronkowski told Joe he was going to grab the microphone and call him onto the dance floor, and Joe laughed it off, saying he can't dance but he can cook fried rice. Essentially, Gronkowski repeated that comment over the mic.
