It is a shame that Phil won't be able to defend his title this week due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his wife Amy. I wish the Mickelson family the very best during their ordeal. Having parents who have both survived cancer, I know how harrowing the experience can be.

Although it is a different type of cancer, I have a friend who will be running a triathalon to help cure blood cancer. If your feeling generous, you can donate to his cause by visiting the following link:

The tournament at The Colonial is known for bringing out a quality field each year. I know Tiger and Phil won't be there, but Furyk, Singh, Perry, and Ogilvy are all going to be there with many other skilled masters.

Rumor has it that Paul Casey is the favorite this week, but I have my eyes set on another Englishman to get it done.

This course rewards accuracy, so picks like JB Holmes, may be a little risky this week.

Since I was out of the range of the internet over the holiday weekend (like that's possible in today's day and age), my Yahoo fantasy ranks slipped slightly, but I am still in the 99th percentile in both my group, and in the overall pool.

This week in GROUP A I am starting Kenny Perry and backing him up with the accurate Jim Furyk

In GROUP B I am starting the red hot Charley Hoffman and Brian Gay. They will be backed up by the solid Zach Johnson, and Tim Clark.

In GROUP C I am shying away from Ian Poulter this week. I think his run is over. I am instead starting Ben Crane, and backing him up with the extremely impressive Luke Donald.

There are some great players, with some great value in this weeks field. Some notables that almost made the cut for the six pack include Stephen Ames, Vijay Singh (I think he is poised for a nice comeback soon), DL3, Rod Pampling, and Geoff Ogilvy.

Let's get this show on the road...

No. 1 Kenny Perry

The sports books continue to deny Kenny Perry of any respect.

I am not complaining.

Perry has a proven track record here, winning the event twice. Overall this year he has been exceptional.

The fifth ranked money earner so far in '09 also ranks 10th in GIR and third in scoring average.

I am not sure what else this guy needs to do, but his second win of the season is very much within reach at The Colonial this weekend.

Somehow, Kenny Perry is a value ridden 20/1 to win it all.

No. 2 Justin Leonard

UNITED STATES - MAY 29: Justin Leonard hits from a bunker on the 7th hole during the Final Round of The Fedex St. Jude Classic at TPC @ Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee on May 29, 2005. (Photo by Joe Murphy/Getty Images)

The Colonial is in Ft. Worth, TX. Justin is from TX and is also a Longhorn alum. He has been the best performing Texan on the Texas courses so far this year.

Leonard is 12th on tour in driving accuracy and 16th on tour in scrambling. This is a great combination of statistics. It shows, that when he does miss, he can dig himself out of a hole to get up and down for pars and birdies.

Justin is a solid third round player, and is probably the best on tour in scoring birdies on par fours.

Justin has been playing well lately, placing CUT, 48,32,5,and 16 in his last five events. He also has been all over the top 20 at The Colonial over the past twelve years, but has never won here.

If there is an event he would love to win in 2009, it would be this one.

I love Justin to get it done this week at 30/1 odds.

No. 3 Charley Hoffman

UNITED STATES - JANUARY 21: Charley Hoffman blasts out of the greenside bunker on the 16th hole during the fifth and final round of the Bob Hope Classic at The Classic Course on Sunday, January 21, 2007 in Palm Springs, California (Photo by Marc Feldman

I can't believe this guy is in MY six pack AGAIN!

I have never been a fan of this guy, but his consistency in 2009 is undeniable.

In his last five tourneys he has placed 75,19,37,9, 23. He is still a perfect 13 for 13 on cuts made this year.

He is not the most accurate guy out there, but he bombs the ball a mile off the tee, and somehow manages to perform very well on par fours.

He is ranked 18th in GIR and fourth in scoring average. I could go on and on with his impressive statistics.

He may be having a bad hair day every day, but he is producing great results on every course he has played, and he is amongst the best on tour in scoring before the cut.

I love Hoffman to cash a big check come Sunday. At 40/1 Chuckie Poo is value, personified.

No. 4 Brian Davis

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL - MAY 10: Brian Davis of England plays from a bunker on the seventh hole during the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass on May 10, 2009 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. (Photo by Rich

I guess the secret is out.

I thought for sure this guy was going to be 60/1 or higher.

Davis has only played Colonial once and placed T59, so I obviously have not selected him for his past results here.

I am focused more on his current play. This Englishman has caught absolute fire recently going 19,38,5,5,2 in his last five events. He has made $1.2 of his $1.5 million in the month of May ALONE!

Not a bad month, eh?

He is a fairly accurate golfer, and actually is second on tour in total birdies made this year at 214. It would take me 10 lifetimes to make that many birdies. Ok, you're right, I'm not that good, make it 20 lifetimes..

Davis stats are not overwhelming, but they are very good, and let's face it, no other golfer on tour has a temperature closer to magma, than Brian Davis.

Sign me up at 40/1

No. 5 Steve Marino

AVONDALE, LA - APRIL 23: Steve Marino hits from the sand on the 7th hole during the first round of the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana on April 23, 2009 in Avondale, Louisiana. (Photo by Dave Martin/Getty)

Steve Marino is the equivalent of crack in my six pack.

I just cannot stop picking this guy.

Marino finished T24 here in 2007 and T10 here last year. I like the progression.

He has also gone back to his "old self", finishing 13,5,38,79,16 in his past five events. He seems to be over his "cut problem" that plagued him earlier this year.

This guy has what it takes to win on tour, and the Colonial is clearly a place he likes to play, as he has a history of good performances.

Marino is accurate, putts well, and also is second on tour with Brian Davis, in birdies made this year at 214. I know Steve is going to win this year, and this week sets up well for him.

I love the value that Steve Marino offers at 50/1 odds.

No. 6 Kevin Na

UNITED STATES - MARCH 10: Kevin Na works on his sand game after first round competition at the 2005 Honda Classic March 10, 2005 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. (Photo by Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images)

Na disappointed me last week, by missing the cut.

When he doesn't miss the cut, he usually places in the top 10.

The lightning fast greens at Colonial play right into Kevin Na's hands. He is the 10th best putter on tour. He also ranks high in the "all around" category.

Na is another one of the bright young guys on tour, that is very due for a victory. This kid can go VERY low, and if he brings it this weekend, he will undoubtedly contend for a win.

I love Kevin Na at 60/1

Good luck this week.
