Well, the Memorial Day weekend is officially over and its back to the grind for the most of us.
I hope that all of the men and women that are serving or have served our great country enjoyed the holiday.
My weekend went well, until yesterday when I started coughing and sneezing. And then today it has become full blown with a cough, sinus congestion, sore throat, ect… I feel like I have something between the swine flu and SARS.
I hope the picture of Sara Jean Underwood can make me feel better.
But enough about me, lets get to some of the headlines of the past few days.
Shockey was taken to the hospital after becoming dehydrated near a swimming pool while attending a party with several NFL players in Las Vegas.
According to a spokesman Shockey appeared to be doing better after being treated at the hospital.
Jeremy, remember to mix in a water once in a while with all of that alcohol.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Cribbs showed up to mini camp practice to show "He is making this good-faith effort to show everyone just how important this is to him. We will continue to communicate with the Browns on a regular basis and we are optimistic that there will be a fair solution," according to his agent J.R. Rickert.
It’s been reported that Cribbs wants a deal similar to Devin Hester’s. It's hard to believe that the Browns would make the same mistake that the Bears did, but who knows.
After a fan on Twitter told Owens that he was not happy that the WR was released by the Cowboys, Owens tweeted:
"blame the OC & romo!! but i'm happy 2 b where i am but i miss the other guys tht were & r true teammates!!"
It seems if Owens will never take any blame for anything he does. And he believes that it’s always someone else’s fault.

During an interview with SI.com's Peter King, Brady said he was "as confident as anyone could be that I'll be ready to play, back to playing normally, when the seasons starts. I've done everything I could to push myself, sometimes too hard. Right now, I'm doing everything. Literally everything. There's nothing I can't do."
That's bad news for the rest of the NFL.
ESPN has reported that Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin has informed agent Drew Rosenhaus, the Cardinals, and the NFL Players Association of plans to fire Rosenhaus amid stalled attempts to force a trade or a new contract.
The Indianapolis Star has reported that the Colts future Hall of Fame QB is not happy with the coaching changes in Indy.
"It's not a situation that I'm just thrilled about," Manning said. "I think the communication has been pretty poor in my opinion. Somebody says one thing, then somebody else says another thing. ... I'm not sure everybody's on the same page in this building. I'm just trying to focus on playing quarterback well."
"It's not normal not having a full coaching staff," Manning said. "I know we hired a couple of guys to come in, but these guys are learning. They're not offering a lot of coaching out there, I can assure you of that."
ESPN has reported that former Jaguars WR Matt Jones has been notified he will not be suspended as the result of his violation of a court-mandated drug program.
Jones was released by the Jaguars in March.
The Miami Herald is reporting that Burress has interest in signing with the Miami Dolphins.
The Herald states that Burress, who has a residence in Miami, has told people he would love to join the Dolphins if his legal problems are resolved.
Burress would give the Dolphins the playmaker at WR that they need, but Burress will appear in court next month and faces the possibility of a three-and-a-half year sentence for carrying an unlicensed firearm.
