Well, for the second time since November, we shall travel to Greenville, NC. This time, it is not for a basketball game, but surprisingly, a baseball game.

The Mason baseball team received an at-large bid, a No. 3 seed, in the East Carolina regional. Mason (42-12) fell in the CAA Tournament, but the selection committee could not leave this team out this year.

The team opens up play on Friday afternoon against South Carolina at 3 p.m. All games over the weekend are to be played at Clark-Leclair Stadium, which is right next door to the basketball arena.

And for the record, Sean and I are 1-0 on the ECU campus when it deals with Mason athletics being there.

We will miss Friday's game but will be there Saturday afternoon and hopefully Sunday as well, wins permitting.
