It's not every day you get access to Stan Collymore, Michael Owen, Marcel Desailly and Andy Cole in the same room, but that's what happened for our Twitter takeover on Thursday—with the foursome in China together playing in a Legends tournament.

As the four men enjoyed a cool beer, we asked B/R UK readers to put questions to them over Twitter.

These are some of the best answers.

First up, Owen was asked if Daniel Sturridge should start for England at the World Cup. Cole was only too happy to offer his opinion also:

The next question was posed to World Cup winner Desailly, who was asked if fellow Frenchman Franck Ribery deserved the Ballon d'Or:

It was then back to Cole, to discover who he thought was the best Manchester United striker in his lifetime. He didn't pick himself!

Here's how Owen responded to a question about whether more English players should go abroad, and follow the example he set by playing at Real Madrid:

The subject then turned to Zinedine Zidane. We asked Desailly what kind of man Zizou was in the dressing room:

Desailly was also asked to pick which European success was his favourite—the 1993 triumph with Marseille or the 1994 win with AC Milan:

On the subject of favourite goals, Cole, Owen and Collymore added their take:

We then moved to the subject of Portugal vs. Sweden—the World Cup play-off that will see either Cristiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic robbed of the chance to play in Brazil next summer:

The guys were then asked to name the best manager they had played under:

Finally, Stan responded to questions about young players in football and which moments of his career he replayed most in his head:

If you enjoyed that, be sure to check back for our takeover with @guillembalague on Friday at 1 p.m. BST.
