Los Angeles Lakers: Your 2008 NBA Champions
The Los Angeles Lakers enter the 2008 NBA playoffs as the #1 seed in the most competitive Western Conference that anyone has ever seen. This competitiveness of the West will benefit the Lakers when they appear in the NBA finals later this summer. I am here to tell you that the LA Lakers are primed and ready to win another title this year. A first round matchup with the "we don't play defense" Denver Nuggets and look for the Lake show to advance easily. The Lakers led by this season's MVP Kobe Bryant; at least in my opinion have come together extremely well since the addition of Pau Gasol. With the return of stud young center Andrew Bynum, the Lakers should be at full strength and I see no reason why they won't win it all. They have a hall of fame coach, the best player in the game, possibly the deepest squad, experience at the point and the intangibles to get it done. Join me for the ride as I will be covering the Lakers on their ride to another title.
