While it never pays to be presumptuous, it very much looks like it will be Mexico, not New Zealand, who will be going to next summer's World Cup in Brazil.

It took just 48 minutes for El Tri to take a three-goal advantage at the Azteca Stadium in the first leg of their play-off with the All Whites, and the man who got the third, Oribe Peralta, certainly celebrated his strike in style.

Rushing to the sidelines, Peralta saddled up and proceeded to ride a non-playing team-mate down the sideline, a curious celebration.

We may never know the inspiration for the celebration, but perhaps the team all watched Happy Gilmore the night before the big match.

Doing the bull dance. Feeling the flow. Working it. Working it.
