Pierce and the Ravens are in Chicago with a game against the Bears in the balance. Ray Rice's counterpart had eight carries and 31 yards in last week's win over the Bengals. He also had two catches on three targets for 12 yards in the passing game.
Pierce's numbers were shockingly tops among Raven running backs and it seems Jim Harbaugh is content to let production determine the workload for both backs. That is good news for Pierce, who has been slightly more productive than the disappointing Rice. His value gets a bit of a bump this week, but probably does not make him start-worthy.
