Caleb Sturgis: Week 11 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor November 13, 2013

Sturgis is just 15-for-20 on field goals this year, but the Dolphins are sticking with him. He played through a groin injury against Tampa Bay on Monday night in Week 10 and managed to kick two field goals and an extra point with no problems, so he'll likely be good to go this week.
The Dolphins could find themselves in field-goal range more times than normal this week against a San Diego defense that gives up a good amount of yardage, elevating Sturgis from a bad fantasy kicker to a mediocre one for this week's purposes. With the number of kicks he misses, even plentiful opportunities isn't enough to make him an enticing option.
