Rivers is completing better than 70 percent of his passes headed into a Week 11 game in Miami, and he has 18 scores this season. He completed 19-of-29 passes for 218 yards with one touchdown last week in a loss to Denver.
Against Miami, the temptation will be to lean more on the run, considering the Dolphins have allowed the seventh most rushing yards in the NFL this season. Their pass defense has been better, but Rivers will still need to throw for San Diego to have a chance to win Sunday. It would stand to reason that he would have a big game after hitting a bump against the Broncos.
