Tate is officially the Texans' starting running back following Arian Foster's placement on season-ending injured reserve. Tate has played the last two weeks with four broken ribs, and faces an Oakland defense in Week 11 that's been solid against the run.
Tate has just 137 yards on 37 carries over the past two weeks while Foster attempted to play. It's not a good match up, but the ability to add a running back capable of 15-20 touches weekly is a solid RB2 option.
