WWE Raw was centered around WWE's complicated on-camera corporate structure. WWE made a storyline out of a problem that has adversely affected ratings while making The Authority angle itself difficult to connect with fans.
From Kane, to Brad Maddox to Vickie Guerrero, to Triple H, to Stephanie McMahon right on down to Vince and the Board of Directors, WWE could use a little less authority.
The Shield and the Wyatts teased tension this past week on Raw, but by night's end, they appear more likely to team up against a babyface super team than face off at Survivor Series. If this is a case, it's a shame. A hot Manchester crowd was chomping at the bit to see two of WWE's top stables go at it. A Survivor Series showdown between The Wyatts and The Shield would create a dream match of sorts.
Curtis Axel and Dolph Ziggler engaged in a competitive match for the Intercontinental Championship that resulted in a clean, decisive finish with Axel going over. The match made both wrestlers look strong as it spotlighted an Intercontinental Title match as an wrestling showcase between two hyper-athletic WWE Superstars. The more of that, the better.
