New York Mets outfielder Ryan Church and shortstop Jose Reyes have been put on the 15-day DL today.

Reyes has been bothered by a hamstring problem, which also affected his hip the last 11 games. And Church has also been bothered by a sore right hamstring.

Center fielder Carlos Beltran will also miss the next three games as an MRI today revealed bruising in his knee.

Backup fielder Alex Cora visited a doctor today and was later throwing a baseball according to Matthew Cerrone of SNY’s Mets Blog. This is good news as hopefully Cora will return from the DL sooner than expected.
