Remember the recent goal scored by Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic against Southampton at the Britannia Stadium?
The Potters' No. 1 used the strong wind swirling around the stadium to outwit fellow 'keeper Artur Boruc and open the scoring for Mark Hughes' team in the first few seconds of the match.
Well, Begovic's long punt has now been surpassed in Spain during the 90th minute of the Tercera Division match between UE Alcudia and Real Mallorca B.
With Mallorca looking set to claim the points, Alcudia goalkeeper Tolo Barceló ran up the field to join his teammates in the final attack of the game.
When a free-kick from the right-hand side of the area floated across the penalty area, Barceló followed the ball and twisted his body into position before unleashing a bicycle kick to outdo Begovic with a spectacular equaliser for Alcudia.
The goal also denied Barceló's former team victory in the game, which finished 1-1.
Barceló's effort mirrored the last-minute strike by Carlisle United goalkeeper Jimmy Glass, whose late goal kept the Brunton Park side in the Football League in 1999 (clip courtesy of YouTube).
Peter Schmeichel, Paul Robinson and Tim Howard are all goalkeepers to have been credited with goals in the Premier League alongside Begovic.
But none of those will match Barceló for the style in which he rescued a point for his team.
