(got rankings of players from http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/players)
Ok here it is plain and easy.....the Michigan Wolverines are not going to be no where near as good as they were last year
If you don't think so....i will tell you exactly why I think that
*They lose Mario Manningham-Best receiver in 2008 Draft.....12 best WR overall
*They lose Jamar Adams-Hard hitting very good safety
*They lose Adrian Arrington-Very good-played fantastic in the Michigan vs Florida Bowl Game-2nd to 4th round draft pick-56 best WR overall
*They lose Shawn Crable-very good elusive LB
*They lose Mike Hart-Outstanding HB-Very Quick-Strong-Some say best Running Back in the draft-What I and others have to say is a very underrated ranking...38th best HB in NCAA
*They lose Chad Henne-Very strong arm-A pretty accurate arm-About 3rd to 9th best QB in draft-Holy crap...i was never expecting this.....95th best QB in NCAA (I do have to say he is over-rated not ranking wise but draft wise...but I doubt Michigans new QB will do better than him)
*They lose Adam Kraus-very strong-good blocker-Michigans best OG
*They lost Jake Long-At worst the 2nd best OT in the draft-very strong-Quick for and OT-Stays with his man-Gives up very few sacks
*They also lose on of there best head coaches in history..Lloyd Carr-even though Rich Rodregueze is a good coach I have to say he is no where near Lloyd Carr
There are 9 good reasons why Michigan is going to be nothing compared to last year.....and they had all those players last year and weren't as good as they usual are (they did good but just not as good as usual)...I mean they lost to Appalachian State at home...they lost to Oregon at home(worse than a lose)....they pretty much got there butts whooped by Wisconsin...and barely gave OSU anything....that's 3 games they definitely should have given a better game and 1 that they should have gotten more than 3 points
It is true they do have one of the best recruiting in the country.....and i think they will still be good just not as good as last year
Michigan went out and hired a big name coach to replace Lloyd Carr and Nick Shepkowski says get the Wolverines while you can because this team scares him in the years to come. (Read More)

I don't know how old or how experienced you are with sports, but I can tell you obviously don't fully understand college athletics.
Every year all around the NCAA, players graduate and leave college. I'm not saying that Michigan is going to be good (or even satisfactory for that matter), they still are going to be Michigan, and they will probably end up with 7 wins. You don't realize that Michigan has a top 10 recruiting class each year.
Other reason why Michigan will be OK: They are going to be using a running-spread type of offense in a conference known for slowness on the outside and in the flats. If Michigan's RB's (Brandon Minor and Carlos Brown specifically) can stay healthy all season, they will easily be responsible for half of Michigan's offensive production and get 1 or 2 upsets.
Extra:
Never compare Lloyd Carr to Rich-Rod..
--Lloyd has been coaching for a much longer amount of time, and for a much higher prestige program. Rich-Rod has single handedly made WVU's program. They have been in two entirely separate situations, and I think Rich-Rod will be a great Michigan coach in the future once his offense schemes are established.
Michigan lost to Appalachian State because of themselves
--Michigan's loss to App. State last year occured Michigan gave into the hype of them being a potential national championship team so they expected an easy win. Appalachian State deserved that win. If those two teams could play again today, Michigan would easily win because they would take them much more seriously. They had much more talent, they just didn't think they needed to use it. Like I said, Michigan deserved that lost.
Oregon was a better team than Michigan was even with those "9 players" you consider so highly.
--With Dennis Dixon healthy, Oregon was easily a top 3 team in the country. Simple as that. Michigan deserved that loss also, but not by that type of deficit. Also, that game showed how productive a run-spread offense could be very successful in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin, just like Oregon, was the better team out of the two.
--Yep. Once again, your "9 players" just simply were over-matched. Whether you like it or not, Wisconsin beat Michigan because they were the better team all season. In no way was that game a definite win, and nobody thought it was supposed to be even before the season.

+1 on what Anthony said... if you're going to write articles that aren't "kick-ass", that's fine. But if you're going to write articles like this, I wouldn't write at all.
