With a big opportunity to prove himself against the Dallas Cowboys, Marques Colston did just that, having a big performance for fantasy owners.

The New Orleans Saints dominated the Cowboys, winning 49-17.  Colston was great, finishing with 107 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions.   In ESPN's standard scoring leagues, that was good enough for 16 points, the most he had scored all season.

It had been a season to forget for Colston heading into this game.  He had caught 27 passes for 342 yards and only one touchdown, putting up just one game with at least 10 points.

Things were looking very bleak last week; Colston was out with a knee injury.  He was probable to play on Sunday Night Football, but some were still worried if he would be effective.

That doesn't seem to be a problem now.  Drew Brees found him early and often.  If this starts to become a trend, then Colston will certainly be a valuable receiver for the rest of the season.
