Just when it looked like A.J. Green was going to have to settle for a mediocre fantasy performance in a loss for the Cincinnati Bengals, the unthinkable happened.
The Bengals were down 17-10 against the Baltimore Ravens with one play left in the fourth quarter. Andy Dalton threw up a Hail Mary, the ball was tipped and Green came down with the ball in the end zone. The game headed to over time, where the Bengals ultimately lost after a Justin Tucker game-winning field goal.
Green finished with yet another great game, turning it on late and putting up 151 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions. In ESPN's standard-scoring leagues, that's good enough for 21 fantasy points. This was his fifth consecutive game with at least 100 receiving yards, making him one of the best and most reliable fantasy receivers in the league.
When it comes to wide receivers, Green has proven to be one of the best in the NFL, even with an inconsistent quarterback like Dalton. He simply finds ways to get the ball and puts up huge fantasy performances every single week.
Green is firmly entrenched as a WR1. He's a must-start player each and every week regardless of matchup. At this rate, there's an argument to be made for him being one of the top three wideouts in fantasy.
