Updates from Sunday, Dec. 15

Jay Cutler is active according to the Chicago Bears' official Twitter page:

#Bears inactives: LB Briggs (shoulder), QB Palmer, S Cattouse, DT Tupou, OLs Brown & Scott, DE Washington. #CHIvsCLE

Ahead of kickoff, ESPN.com's Staff reported not all Bears players were happy with the decision to start Jay Cutler instead of Josh McCown in Week 15:

One Bears player told ESPN's Bob Holtzman that Cutler threw a number of interceptions in practice this week and that it's been weeks since McCown -- who leads the NFL in QBR -- has thrown any. The player said with each mistake Cutler made the defense grew more and more frustrated.

Sources said that players bit their tongues this week out of respect for coach Marc Trestman but that some defensive players are likely to speak up if Cutler doesn't play well Sunday.
