When the first downloadable content expansion pack for WWE 2K14 is released on Tuesday, Nov. 12, the anticipation over what has been dubbed the “nWo” pack has hardcore and causal wrestling fans alike in a frenzy.

The New World Order was one of the greatest heel stables in wrestling history, and the impression the group had on the industry is still being felt all these years later.

Now the fans that weren’t able to live through that era can reenact many of the stable’s most iconic moments. According to 2K Sports, the nWo pack includes the following wrestlers:

  • Kevin Nash
  • Scott Hall
  • “Macho Man” Randy Savage
  • Syxx
  • Curt Hennig
  • Scott Steiner
  • The Giant

At a reasonable cost of $8.99 (those that already purchased Season Pass will get the DLC pack immediately upon release), the ability to play with the nWo attire for bona fide legends like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall (already in the game as Diesel and Razor Ramon) is a dream come true for gamers.

With “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan already featured in the game, wrestling fans will be able to reform the original nWo and recreate the greatest heel turn in the sport’s long history when Hogan joined the Outsiders.

Add in the black and white gear for the “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Curt Hennig—as well as The Big Show once again taking the role of The Giant and adorning the nWo gear—and there is no question that gamers will book the newly formed stable to dominate the WWE 2K14 landscape.

As if the nWo pack wasn’t cool enough, the addition of Superstars Syxx and Scott Steiner help ensure that fans of all generations realize the depth and magnitude of the impact this stable had on the battle between WWF and WCW.

Gamers can now test the power of The Shield, The Real Americans or any of the other tag teams the WWE currently has on its roster against The Outsiders and watch the black-and-white clad wrestlers clean house.

Just as the nWo took over WCW in the 1990s—old-school fans will remember the nWo vs. WCW N64 game—wrestling addicts will be able to control the WWE Universe with the stable and run the show with an iron fist.

This DLC pack is one that all generations of wrestling fans can appreciate, and it will be a big hit upon its release. Don’t be caught with the white and black attack!
