Minnesota Twins: Injury Notes

AlexAnalyst IApril 18, 2008

The Twins have battled through injuries since the start of spring training. Let's look at how some of the injured Twins are coming along.

Adam Everett

Everett was examined a few days ago, and was not placed on the disabled list. However, he received a shot today, and has not thrown since his injury.

There is still a chance that they'll move him to the disabled list, and we'll know more when he tries to throw in the next few days. If he does need a stint on the DL, look for Brian Buscher to get the call from AAA Rochester.

Kevin Slowey

Slowey has had two bullpen sessions since his injury with no pain, and was expected to have another today. If all goes well, the plan is for Slowey to head to Fort Myers for a rehab stint. He is expected to need three our four starts in the minors before being ready to head back to the majors.

Michael Cuddyer
Cuddyer can come off the disabled list this weekend, but it's a long shot that it'll happen. Cuddyer said that he still can't throw the ball correctly, and the injury is healing slower than thought. It's thought that Cuddyer should be able to return sometime in the middle of next week.
