The Knights lost some vital pieces to their puzzle with Brian Leonard being drafted back in April. But the Knights almost went perfect last season, and will look to lay claim to the Big East. Wins over West Virginia and Louisville will add depth to their schedule. The loss of Leonard will not be as severe, but the Knights will have to step up to clinch the East and earn a BCS bid.

The Cinderella story of last year’s Scarlet Knights looks to continue in 2007.  With the nation’s leading rusher (Ray Rice) and All-Big East defensive lineman Eric Foster returning, don’t expect much of a drop off (if any) from last year’s 11-2 season.
