On the back of an 18-0 run in the second half, the Los Angeles Clippers (4-3) managed to hold off the Houston Rockets (4-3) for the second time this week by a final score of 107-94.
With roughly five minutes left in the third quarter and the team trailing 71-60, the Clippers used their huge run to overtake the Rockets, scoring the final 13 points while Houston went scoreless for nearly seven minutes.
Dwight Howard had 21 points and eight rebounds for Houston, but hit just 5-of-11 from the charity stripe. Chandler Parsons would lead the team with 23 points and three assists.
James Harden, who was a game-time decision due to an injured foot, scored just 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting.
Houston's poor shooting from behind the arc (7-of-26) and abundance of turnovers helped lead to their demise.
The Clippers will host the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, while the Rockets invite the Toronto Raptors to the Toyota Center on Monday as well.
FINAL SCORE: Los Angeles Clippers 107, Houston Rockets 94
