The Minnesota Golden Gophers knocked off the Penn State Nittany Lions 24-10, but the celebration didn't go as planned. When the players were celebrating with the Governor's Victory Bell, the trophy broke.

Not everything is bad, as Newsweek contributor John Walters noted:

Minnesota also plays for the Floyd of Rosedale (vs. Iowa), the Little Brown Jug (vs. Michigan) and Paul Bunyan's Axe (vs. Wisconsin).
