Penske May Add Fourth Cup Team

Penske Racing may add a fourth Sprint Cup team this season, according to Jayski.com

The report is that Penske may add the fourth team with driver Justin Allgaier, sporting  No. 22. A sponsor on the machine was not mentioned.

Allgaier, a rookie in the Nationwide Series, is currently 10th in Nationwide Series points driving the No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge for Roger Penske.

Allgaier currently leads the rookie standings in the Nationwide Series with two top five and five top 10 finishes. His career best finish is fifth, which he did twice (Bristol and Darlington).

Allgaier was also the 2008 ARCA Re/Max Series Champion.
