A source close to the Edmonton Oilers was reported as saying that Pat Quinn was going to be announced as head coach of the Edmonton Oilers, along with Tom Renney as his assistant.
The move will reunite Renney, Quinn, and general manager Steve Tambolini again.
All three men worked together with the Vancouver Canucks in the early 1990s.
The News conference is scheduled for 12 pm Pacific Time.
