A screen went poorly for Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night when Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers hit Griffin in the throat with his forearm.

Chalmers was called for a personal foul on the play, and Griffin went on to make only one of the two free throws. It was the fourth foul on Chalmers, which forced Heat coach Erik Spoelstra to take him out of the game midway through the third quarter.
