The Bruins will impact everyone’s poll. The Bru-Crew has the Trojans and the Golden Bears on their schedule, but if last season is any indication, UCLA will shake the foundation of the Pac 10 Conference. Despite going 7-6 last season, their biggest win was no question against John David Booty and the USC Trojans. That win sent the Gators to a showdown with the Buckeyes, and left the Bruins with a huge smile on their face. Wins over at least 60% of their conference puts the Bruins in a good position to get a high bowl rather than a low one.

UCLA finished the regular season strong having upset cross-town rival USC in a classic, defensive battle.  This year Head Coach Karl Dorrell will help continue that momentum as the Bruins try to return to the top of the Pac-10.  With an experienced defense led by Bruce Davis, the nation’s leader in sacks last year (12.5), expect UCLA to make great strides this season.

Unreal amount of returning starters.  If Ben Olsen can find a groove, this team could be undefeated heading into the regular season finale at USC.

Most people have them higher, but they just don’t have enough offense.
