For the third year in a row, the Springfield Falcons' games will be heard on WHYN AM 560.

Back in 2007, the station got the rights to all 80 of the AHL franchise's games.

Over the years, the Springfield Falcons have been broadcast on WNNZ AM 640 and WMAS AM 1450.

The Springfield Falcons are also in the third season of their affiliation with the NHL's Edmonton Oilers. They have been previously affiliated with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Phoenix Coyotes, and the former Hartford Whalers.

They have not made the Calder Cup playoffs since the 2002-2003 season, when they lost to the Hamilton Bulldogs in Conference Quarterfinals.
