Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid will take aim at adding three points next to their name in the La Liga table this weekend when they host Real Sociedad in what will be their third match in a week's time.
Los Blancos are coming off a 2-2 draw with Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday, but have won two straight matches in Spain since falling to Barcelona at Camp Nou late last month. But Real Sociedad have been coming into form as well, earning a point or more in each of their past four outings.
But Jagoba Arrasate's men still have ways to go before they catch Barcelona, Atletico Madrid or Real in the standings.

Top Storyline: Zero Room for Error for Real Madrid
Having fallen six points back of Barca and five points back of Atletico in the La Liga table, Real Madrid will have very little room for error moving forward. Los Blancos have done well in their two most recent league matches, but must improve defensively if they hope to chase down the leaders.
Real have scored 10 goals combined over those two matches, but have conceded five.
Real Sociedad have been one of Spain's more potent offensive clubs in recent weeks. Led by Frenchman Antoine Griezmann, who has scored seven goals in 10 La Liga appearances this season, Arrasate's squad has netted 10 goals over the last three matches.
Consequently, if goalkeeper Diego Lopez and company aren't careful on Saturday, they could wind up letting in one too many goals.
Which club wins?
Carlo Ancelotti's squad has been lights-out at the Bernabeu since September's derby loss to Atletico. Real have won four straight at home since the start of October, outscoring their opponents by a combined mark of 15-4.
Therefore, you've got to love Real's chances of picking up three more points on Saturday, even if they aren't peaking defensively.
Real Sociedad shouldn't be overlooked given their recent success, but earning a point in hostile territory against one of Europe's premier clubs will be a monumental task.
With Ronaldo and Gareth Bale both looking sharp in Tuesday's draw with Juve, expect Los Blancos to roll to another high-scoring win this weekend.
Real Madrid 4, Real Sociedad 2
