The Return Of Mr. Kennedy and The Ramifications

Captain CharismaCorrespondent IMay 26, 2009

As I was watching Raw and more specifically, the promo between "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Viper" Randy Orton, I had a feeling of deja vu, the feeling that I had seen this same promo just a week earlier.

True, Randy Orton was again very good on the mic, in my opinion saying what all of us are thinking about Naitch, and Ric Flair brought along what only Ric Flair can. But then came the inevitable beatdown followed by the save from "The (lumbering) Animal" Batista.

Orton backed off and began to retreat back to the locker room after stating that "It's over," when....

And just like that, Raw has been injected with excitement.

It was indeed the return of Mr. Kennedy.

Now, many of you may feel that he could have had a better return, but it's like this: with Mr. Kennedy interacting with the WWE Champion and arguably the top star in the WWE today, it shows that the E may indeed be ready to push Mr. Kennedy to the main event, and that can only be good.

This was further reinforced by Ken Kennedy declaring that he was coming for the WWE Championship.

If that is indeed the case, then I congratulate the WWE.

Now, I feel that Mr. Kennedy may first need a feud to get him back into the rhythm before he goes after Randy Orton.

I feel that MVP is the perfect candidate.

Their careers have seemingly mirrored each others, with both arriving on the scene at about the same time, both taking on the Brothers of Destruction at the same time, and now, both on Raw at the same time.

In order for this to succeed, one of these superstars has to turn heel, and I for one would love to see the return of the cocky, brash heel Mr. Kennedy, the Mr. Kennedy that we love to hate.

This feud could be money for the WWE if done right.

I am truly excited that Mr. Kennedy is back and here's hoping that he stays healthy and can finally fulfill his potential.

I don't see him becoming WWE Champ or even having a title shot anytime soon because of the impending return of HHH and the inevitable continuation of his feud with Randy Orton (yawn), but if Mr. Kennedy stays injury-free and gets over with the crowd like he was in 2007, then the E will have no choice but to make MRRRRRRRR. KEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDYYYYYYYYYY...KEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYY...WWE Champion...Champion.
