Who would have thought that by Week 10 of the 2013 NFL season we'd be focusing on players like Nick Foles, Case Keenum and Mike James?

With the heart of the schedule in full bloom, injuries to key players and opportunities for their backups to shine in their absence have sculpted the NFL landscape once again. New storylines emerge each week as a result, and this week is no different, as a full slate of entertaining matchups is made even more intriguing by the injury issues across the league.

Many of the top NFL superstars coming into Week 10 are banged up, and fantasy football owners must start formulating backup plans for the potential inactives and key players on bye weeks.

Victor Cruz, WR, New York Giants

Status: Active

New York Giants star wide receiver Victor Cruz suffered a setback with his neck injury earlier this week, per Jordan Raanan of, but he practiced Thursday and Friday and has been officially listed as active for his team’s matchup with the Oakland Raiders in Week 10.


Arian Foster, RB, Houston Texans

Status: Out

After leaving Week 9's game with a back injury in the first quarter and missing practice all week, per Tania Ganguli of ESPN, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has been listed as out for Sunday's game. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Foster willl need season-ending surgery.


Terrelle Pryor, QB, Oakland Raiders

Status: Active

After a knee injury forced him to leave the Oakland Raiders' Week 9 blowout loss early, quarterback Terrelle Pryor practiced all week and will play on Sunday against the New York Giants, per the team's official inactive list.


Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Status: Out

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended the suspense around the torn labrum of star running back Doug Martin and placed him on the season-ending injured reserve list, according to Chris Wesseling of


Roddy White, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Status: Active

After practicing all week and telling D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about his plans to play in Week 10, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White will be active for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
