Vince Carter Ejected for Elbowing Steven Adams

The Dallas Mavericks lost sixth man Vince Carter to an ejection against the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night after a flagrant-2 foul from the veteran.

OKC rookie center Steven Adams got a little too physical for Vinsanity's liking in one particular sequence in the third quarter, leading Carter to retaliate with an intentional elbow to Adams' face.

My favorite part of all of this is Adams' (non-) reaction. The 7'0" New Zealander brushed it off and played on like a heavyweight champ.

I've gotten so used to NBA players dropping like they got shot after something like this. It was refreshing to see Adams play through. And for any Mavericks fans out there, this might not have been such a bad thing for the team.

To shamelessly carry that analogy a little further, the Mavericks are really like my parents' movie collection. There are a lot of VHS tapes there.

The Blu-rays (or even digital copies?) in OKC were already running away with this one by the time Carter was ejected.
