LaMichael James: Week 10 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor November 6, 2013

After playing in just two of the 49ers first eight games, James is supposedly going to get an opportunity to contribute more to the ground game, according to coach Jim Harbaugh. With Frank Gore getting so much work in during the first half of the season, the team is going to want to keep him refreshed for a playoff run and James could actually see enough of an opportunity to make him fantasy relevant.
While he'll likely share in the back-up role with Kendall Hunter, James has the opportunity to really show the 49ers what he is capable of doing on the field. He has explosive speed and should be able to exploit defenses if he can find the right holes. Unfortunately, given this week's match-up with the Panthers' No. 1 ranked run defense, his opportunities in this game will be few and far between.
