Jared Cook: Week 10 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor November 6, 2013

Though he finally found the endzone for the first time since Week 1, Cook remains a sketchy play each week as he doesn't see consistent enough targets and isn't picking up much in the way of yardage. After a season debut of 141 yards and two touchdowns, Cook has averaged just 33.8 yards per game with just the one touchdown and continues to disappoint fantasy owners.
A week 10 match-up with the Colts does, however, offers a bit of hope that Cook will be able to find the endone for a second week in a row. Indianapolis ranks 26th in the league against the tight end and has given up an average of 51.1 yards per game. If Cook can stave off Lance Kendricks enough to pick up the bulk of that yardage, he could be worth a look in deeper leagues again.
