Washington Redskins 27-34 Minnesota Vikings Fourth quarter
The Minnesota Vikings outlasted the Washington Redskins to win a wild game to start Week 10 of the 2013 NFL season. The Redskins dominated the first half, particularly on offense, but the whole team collapsed after intermission.
The Vikings survived the loss of quarterback Christian Ponder, who succumbed to a shoulder injury late in the third quarter, according to NFL.com's Chris Wesseling.
Matt Cassel stepped in and benefited from Washington's inability to cover reserve tight end John Carlson. Minnesota's own defense risked the blitz late on to stifle Robert Griffin III.
