Questions for Michael Vick
Technically, until released, quarterback Michael Vick is still a player on the Falcons roster. Even though, his fate with the team is all but sealed, here are the questions I would ask Michael Vick:
- In the course of two years, you went from being a franchise quarterback to a felon, while you were in prison, did you ever sit there and think, “What happened?”
- Some, including NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, have said that you haven’t appeared remorseful enough. Are you, in fact, remorseful and what steps do you plan to take to communicate your level of remorse?
- When was the last time you spoke with Falcons owner Arthur Blank, and did you discuss your future with the team?
- When you were in prison, were you able to keep track of the Falcons last season? What do you think about Matt Ryan?
- Recently, you met with former Colts coach Tony Dungy, what did you discuss with him?
- Last summer, you filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. According to the documents, you owe between $10 million and $50 million to creditors, what is the state of your finances?
- The last time you played football was the 2006-2007 season. Do you think you still have the abilities to be a starting quarterback in the NFL?
- It was recently announced that you plan to work with the Humane Society, what do you plan to accomplish in that work?
- How do you feel now about dog fighting?
- What have the past two years taught you about yourself?
