Todd Boeckman is no Troy Smith, but he’ll have Brian Robiskie and Ray Small turning safe passes into game breakers. Vernon Gholston will make plenty of noise at DE, but having Malcolm Jenkins, Donald Washington, Lawrence Wilson, Marcus Freeman, and James “Animal” Laurinaitis to back him up isn’t a bad idea either. Wisconsin and Penn State will be a pretty good nail biter for any Buckeyes fan out there. But it all comes down to the Battle of Ann Arbor against the Wolverines. Winner of this one most likely will lay claim to the Big Ten.

After a crushing defeat at the hands of Florida in the National Championship game, the Buckeyes will look to re-tool after losing 12 starters, including Heisman Trophy-winning QB Troy Smith, Ted Ginn Jr., Anthony Gonzalez, and Quinn Pitcock.  Their young replacements will have to step up in clutch situations.  Once a top recruit out of high school, sophomore RB Chris “Beanie” Wells should have a breakout season.

Replacing a lot.  They're not far from returning to form but may be only be the 4th best team in the Big 10 this year.
