The NBA 08'-09' season has truly been an amazing one.
There have been many spectacular plays throughout the entire season, including during the playoffs. Since the season has ended and the NBA has not announced the play of the year as of yet, I have decided to rank the top three best plays of the year.
You decide which is the best!
With .8 seconds left on the clock, the Portland Trail Blazers passed the ball into Brandon Roy.
Down by one point and without hesitation, Roy raised up for the shot, let go of the ball, and swished it right through the net just as the siren sounded the end of the game throughout the entire arena!
Down by one point with 1.8 seconds remaining in the game, the New Jersey Nets dished the ball into Devin Harris from the other end of the court.
Harris raced up with the ball, lost control of it, somehow regained control, released the ball from his hands, and swished the ball—giving the Nets the lead and ending the game!
In a phenomenal double-overtime extravaganza, the Chicago Bulls passed the ball in with the game tied at 127-127 a piece with only 6.4 seconds remaining.
John Salmons took possession of the ball and drove to the hoop.
Dwyane Wade stole the ball running up the court with three seconds left, put up a floater from the three-point line, and nailed the shot—ending the game!
