There is no bigger QB-Coach tangent that is on the hot seat more than Chad Henne and Lloyd Carr. It’s simple for these two: Win it all. Period. No excuses. A tougher Wisconsin team and a more motivated, physical Penn State will leave the Wolverines bouncing around like a pinball machine. Mario Manningham has to be the real go-to guy for Henne, and Mike Hart will have to be just as perfect as he has been through his career. Don’t forget this stat: Jim Tressel is 5-1 against Carr, and Carroll’s Trojans manhandled Carr. Sorry Wolverines. No BCS Championship for you.

A disappointing end to last season – losing to rival Ohio State and USC in the Rose Bowl – has left a sour taste in the Wolverines’ mouths.  This year Michigan returns much of last year’s team with the goal of winning a BCS championship. Punishing running back Michael Hart will lead the way.

David Williams

Another well balanced team, especially offensively.  Upperclassmen at key positions means the Wolverines will play well on the road and win close games.  This team is desperate to get over the hump after the near-miss National Championship game bid of last year.

How are 8 home games allowed?  Offensive fire power should replace a defense that ended last year on a bad note.

Mike Bell

Henne & Hart's last chance to become wolverine legends, Manningham could be this year's Calvin Johnson.

Steve Tutaj

If they can fill the holes of defense they could take a January vacation to Miami.

All those offensive weapons, but defense is a question mark.
