Brandon Marshall is the No. 1 receiver in Chicago, but second-year receiver Alshon Jeffery has had quite the impact for the Bears this year.

In Week 9 on Monday Night Football, Jeffery had a second straight great game with veteran Josh McCown under center, as he brought in five passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Jeffery was predictably the second-highest targeted player on the offense behind Marshall, who had quite the day himself with seven receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the offense still going through Marshall and having a fluid situation at quarterback, Jeffery remains a strong No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues thanks to catches such as this:

As Bleacher Report's Ian Kenyon points out, Jeffery needs little separation to be productive:

This also translates to Jeffery's innate ability to produce with any quarterback under center. He's a reliable target, so he will consistently have scoring opportunities and even benefit from the large amount of attention defenses must throw Marshall's way on each down.

Jeffery has just three touchdowns this year and three games of 100 or more receiving yards, but his boom-or-bust potential is worthy of a start, provided the matchup is favorable.

Five of the Bears' eight remaining contests come against defenses ranked 19th or worse against the pass, so Jeffery has value in all leagues.

Obviously a trade for Jeffery at this point would be difficult to swing after a big game, but owners should try if he has another mediocre outing. Owners with roster spots to spare would be unwise to unload him with big days against miserable defenses on the way.
