The past week saw the 2013 Major League Baseball season come to an end when the Boston Red Sox won their third World Series title in the last decade.
But since the past week also saw its share of knuckleheadery, it’s time for B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar, MLB Lead Writer Zachary D. Rymer and “MLB Knuckleheads of the Week.”
Gabe and Zachary normally use the term “knucklehead” with a finger-wagging tone, but Gabe is switching things up this week. He’ll be using “knucklehead” as a term of endearment in reference to a certain bearded Red Sox player who had an epic night out on the town over the weekend.
Zachary, however, is sticking with the usual application of the term “knucklehead.” Let’s just say he wasn’t too happy with one of the Gold Glove Award winners and that he’s holding the managers and coaches who did the voting responsible for it.
All comments are welcomed below. You’re also welcome to follow Gabe and Zachary on Twitter, where their own knuckleheadery is featured daily.
