Woodhead had seven carries for 21 rushing yards Sunday against the Redskins. He also had nine catches on 12 targets for 77 receiving yards.
Woodhead's dive to the pylon in the fourth quarter that was originally ruled a touchdown would have won the game for San Diego, but an official review determined it was not a touchdown. The Chargers did not attempt to run the ball with Woodhead on the 1-yard line. He continues to plug along as the team's most effective weapon out of the backfield, but could be having a much better season if he received more red zone carries.
