The Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans are heated rivals, but Wolverines left tackle Taylor Lewan was caught playing dirty on Saturday.

Here's another incident, via Reddit:

Although it's a heated rivalry, this looks pretty dirty. What makes it even more shocking is the fact that Lewan is a fifth-year senior and a co-captain.

Lewan took responsibility for his actions on Monday, according to Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com. He said he was "wrong" for doing what he did, and that he looked for Spartans safety Isaiah Lewis, whose facemask he yanked, after the game to apologize. He did not find him.

Hat tip to Reddit for the find and GIFs.
